I have spent several hours over the past couple days writing what I can only describe as something better sent to a therapist than a group of friends and fans. All is well, really good, actually, but my thoughts are mushy and I feel like a caterpillar in my chrysalis. All goo and no wings just yet.

My life is changing and I love change. But I also love certainty and being decisive, so the messy, gooey transformation stage is uncomfortable for me. It has been instructive for me to try to write to you this week, but I’ll spare you the resulting wander through my brain that no one asked for.

TL;DR - I am going back to grad school in September and I’m pumped about it! I am stepping back from a whole bunch of other things to make space for school, but can’t stop/won’t stop making music. I am literally not myself without it. My family and I are in for a big adjustment and everyone is cheering me on. I have trouble believing that I’m allowed to prioritize myself and take up more space and ask other people to support me. Gonna jump into the deep end and find out!
