I am unintentionally in mental holiday mode this week. I have tried to write but to no avail. I have spent so much time ferrying children to festivals and fireworks that it’s no wonder. I am waving the white flag and letting it be.
Next week I am very, very excited to be attending a songwriting camp. I don’t know if that will mean heightened creativity that bleeds into this newsletter, or another week off. Let’s see!
So, with nothing else to say and a summer walk calling my name, I’ll leave you with a list of places you can see me perform in the coming weeks. I’ll also tell you that tomorrow night Inn Echo is playing at the Road to Cultivate in Memorial Park in Port Hope (6pm) and they’re so, so good you should bring a chair and a friend or two and come enjoy. Arrive early for a little Balfolk dancing led by Saskia Tomkins and Sam Allison.
See you there,
Shannon
