I booked a massage for myself yesterday to try to ease away some of the shoulder-tucked-into-my-ears neck tension that’s had me in its grip this past month.
You make a good point Shannon, and no doubt you’ll receive many there-I-wuz stories from people who have experienced something similar. I am sitting here still aware my latest one, which happened when I reached for the squeegee in the shower the other morning – stabbing pain in (I think) a rhomboid muscle. Obviously that poor squeegee was not the culprit, but there was something else that had previously drawn me as tight as a bowstring and it was just waiting to go “sproing”!
Sometimes our bodies have their own agendas.
